(www.organic-baby-and-mom.com). I am still incredibly impressed with Site Build It!. It has already over-delivered as far as I’m concerned. The thing to know about building a website with this program is that it is not a "get rich quick" scheme (in fact, it points out that there isn’t such thing). It is real work, and real time needs to be put into it. This is, of course, very tragic for the community. I then heard that President Bush has designated this town and area a "disaster area." The thought that keeps running through my mind is, "How is it that he can call this a disaster area and not call Iraq a EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1725420391192656596.post-46723571937470332832007-05-02T15:20:00.000-07:002007-05-02T15:21:37.172-07:00SBI UpdateWhat a difference a week makes. About a week ago I signed up with SiteBuildIt!, a webmaster package. It’s kind of interesting how and when I found it. I was doing my daily meditation on the “Million Dollar Experiment” created by Steve Pavlina, but this time I did it out loud. I was sitting in my backyard enjoying the sun (I live in Portland, Oregon … it’s a rare occurrence!) and repeating the EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1725420391192656596.post-55046365744805666872007-04-26T17:59:00.000-07:002007-04-26T18:24:36.047-07:00"The Secret" and Steve PavlinaI think it’s about time to mention a few extremely valuable sources of recent inspiration that, in fact, led me to starting this blog and to branching off onto this road. By the way, I bit the bullet and purchased Site Build It, which has already surpassed my expectations in the first 3 days of having it. More on this later! If you haven’t been following up to this point, the idea has been to create a written collection of a lot of half-baked theories and ideas floating around in my mind, coupled with some lessons learned from past entrepreneurial experiences, in hopes EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1725420391192656596.post-45376288328756966812007-04-21T19:58:00.000-07:002007-04-22T10:10:53.923-07:00Green BusinessWhen I launch my next business, I intend for it to be green. I have always been a big believer in sustainable living. And now, the masses are catching on. Maybe it was Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" or the facts leaking out about the shortage of oil that could become the absence of oil within the next 35 years. Or maybe people are starting to see bald spots in forests when they go for a drive EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1725420391192656596.post-48180507338826759622007-04-19T11:19:00.000-07:002007-04-19T11:20:58.335-07:00Content WritingOf the entrepreneurial endeavors I’ve undertaken, one of the most successful and best uses of my time was to be a content writer hired by someone else for their website. If you’re looking for extra income, but not necessarily to make a quick million, writing content can be a very good way to bring in some extra cash. And once you build a reputation you can extend your client base. We hiked along the river, soaked in the hot springs, and most importantly, removed ourselves from all electronic devices and communication. This wasn’t completely our intention … we knew the lodge we were staying in didn’t have TVs and I intentionally left my laptop behind, but EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1725420391192656596.post-52400230680990057332007-04-12T21:17:00.000-07:002007-04-12T21:30:16.951-07:00Sifting Through Content for InspirationSo you've decided to want to start an online business. Time to do some fact-finding. One of the best things about starting an online business adventure is that there is an endless abyss of free information available to you on the web. This is also one of the worst things. Following are some suggestions to help you avoid Information Overload Syndrome. Whether you're looking for comparison sites EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1725420391192656596.post-42746448995007529272007-04-10T18:56:00.000-07:002007-04-11T08:22:12.362-07:00Visioning for BusinessVisioning is a tool I use in most aspects of my life, including health, relationships and business, and it can be life-transforming. What I mean by visioning is putting yourself mentally into your desired future, into the life that you want to live. It's visioning the future as if it is the present. A bit like daydreaming, but more focused. Visioning can be a very important motivator and driver EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1725420391192656596.post-50361866630103676612007-04-08T20:50:00.000-07:002007-04-12T14:13:43.438-07:00My First Online Business IdeaMy first big entrepreneurial online business idea came about in late summer of 1999. I had my very first computer and Internet connection. I was living in thriving Central Oregon ... for those not familiar, Bend, OR is a haven for skiers, fly fisherman, retirees, rock climbers, rafters and outdoor enthusiasts alike. I was working at the daily community newspaper, and came across enough articles EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1725420391192656596.post-47962603048425393452007-04-04T20:52:00.000-07:002007-04-12T21:29:38.552-07:00The EJ Experiment - Day OneThis experiment has been a long time in the making. Nearly 10 years ago I started out on the road to becoming an entrepreneur, and have many bumps and bruises to show for it. I also have the countless lessons learned from the experience of starting my own business, endless notebooks of research, files of creative inspiration, and many more fragments stuck in the crevices of my mind, sometimes EJhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02351604217703716884noreply@blogger.com
